Fortunately, there are a number of local events that can bring culture and excitement into your life in the coming weeks. Here is a look at a couple of them.

  • 21st Annual Kids’ Arts Festival: On June 6th, head to Schenectady to participate in this long running annual event that is perfect for the whole family. Held on Jay Street outside of Schenectady City Hall from 12:00-4:00 p.m., this free festival will highlight hands-on arts activities for kids of all ages. There will also be live entertainment from puppets to music to dancing so that you and your entire family will have something to enjoy during the whole event. Food will be available for purchase.   • New York City Ballet at SPAC: For a brief time this summer, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center will host the New York City Ballet. Catch them on opening night (July 7th) to see their All Balanchine performance featuring Square Dance, La Valse, Tarantella, and Symphony in 3 Movements. Performances will run until July 18th.
